Austrian Trade Union Federation (ÖGB)

The Europabüro is the Brussels office of the ÖGB.

The Austrian Trade Union Federation (ÖGB) is the only Austrian organization representing the interests of workers based on voluntary membership. The number of members is now approximately 1.2 million.

Committed to social justice
The following brochure in English provides an overview of the Austrian trade union movement and the current status-quo. It was originally prepared for the Founding Congress of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) in Vienna on November 1st, 2006, und updated in July 2009.
